New CDC guidelines for vaccinated
For those who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) released new guidelines:
• You can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask.
• You can gather indoors with unvaccinated people from one other household without masks, unless any of those people (or anyone they live with) has an increased risk for severe illness from COVID.
• If you’ve been around someone who has COVID-19, you do not need to stay away from others or get tested unless you have symptoms or live in a group setting.
Those who have been vaccinated are still encouraged to wear masks and social distance when in public. Learn more online at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html.
