Stepping On is a seven-week fall prevention program covering a range of issues, including falls and fall risks, strength and balance exercises, safe footwear, vision-related falls, safety in public places, community mobility, coping after a fall and understanding how to initiate a medication review. It’s based on the latest scientific research, and is proven to prevent falls for people 65 and over. The course begins July 26. Courses are 1-3 p.m. Thursdays at the St. Mary’s Life Center.
