Colorado Mountain Winefest received the Outstanding Community Tourism Initiative Award at the 2017 Governor’s Tourism Conference before an audience of more than 500 state tourism leaders. In 2017, Winefest welcomed more than 6,500 people and 50-plus Colorado wineries to Riverbend Park. Attendees represented more than 45 states and five countries. The event has booked every hotel in the Grand Valley for the past three years. This year’s festival had an estimated economic impact of $1.1 million. Winefest returns September 13-16, 2018.
